Understanding the Context
I currently use Ableton Live 8, and have recently been creating DJ sets to play around with. Whenever I load certain songs into my set, they are not full versions. For example, when I load a song of 3.35 minutes into my set from the library menu on the left, only the first 10 seconds or so of the song play. Ableton lets you use those prepacked (Ableton- or Partner-) Instrument Racks, but you can only enter those you own the licenses for instruments and effects that are inside.
